It is that time of year again where the doors close on one year and open for another to come. I hope you are all doing well and are looking forward to what the new year brings.

2018 certainly has been an interesting and challenging year as I think it has been for many. But despite it's challenges it has brought good things in its wake as well. Personally it has been a year of me improving my artwork and steadily getting the hang of digital art. Not to mention I think this is the first time I have managed to produce at least one artwork a month. 

In addition to this I have managed to knock something off my bucket list which was to dive with sharks, which was an amazing experience and something I would absolutely do again. My main focus this year was growth and trying to find new things to try and ways of challenging myself; something that I will bring into the new year. I noticed that majority of 2018 was work, something that I hope to balance out a bit better so I don't exhaust myself. It is something that I am going to try and make happen next year. Like for this year I will be making a vision board for 2019 to help me focus on my goals for this year and I am very excited to make it, and better yet, achieve everything on there haha  

As I have said before I am looking forward to the new year and see what opportunities it brings. I don't really have much to say as I have been very busy this year. But regardless, let's welcome 2019 into our lives and walk forward into this new chapter together; love and light my friends^.=.^

 Well Another year has come and gone, and for me personally 2017 was a strange year, a mix of chaos and new experiences. I managed to open up new branches in my creativity as well as a t-shirt shop. But this year has had it's valleys along side it's peaks, and I know that many other people around the world have been saying that this has been the worst year ever, but lets face it every year that has gone by has apparently been the worst. The thing we over look is the small things in those past years which we enjoyed, whether it is meeting a new friend, getting a job, finding a new hobby etc. Yes this year seems to have had more bad than good, but if the bad wasn't there, we wouldn't be able to appreciate the positive.

A thank you too all the new watchers who have come on board this year, I am very happy that you have decided to watch my artwork and I will keep continuing uploading artwork throughout this new year too. As usual I have had my good friends keeping my spirits up throughout 2017 (you know who you are ) and I look forward to spending even more good times with them and new friends I might meet in 2018.

This new year will brings it's peaks and valleys but know that every single one of you is capable of scaling it's depths and heights. If you find yourself in a tough situation, remember to take a deep breath and put one foot in front of the other. Life isn't a race and there are times where taking your time is not a crime, we all need times where we need to step back and refocus on where we are going in our life. This new year brings a wave of new opportunities for all of you, where ever you are in life. You may get a new job, you might change art media, or find a new hobby you really enjoy. Whatever it is you find in this time as we close the door to 2017, I wish you all the very best and a happy new year.

2018 is a clean 364 page book and what story goes into is up to you.

Yue Valentine
1) When he uses his wings in his demon form they are made up from dark red magic which can be used as weapons in combat.

2) When his wings emerge from his back there is no getting through to him with words, instead he has to be either worn out and knocked out in order to stop him.

3) Has fought his father's demons (and lost) but was more happy after because he knew there was someone who understood about having a demon living within them.

4) He enjoys reading books by a fire, a hobby of his which helps relax him when he's stressed, if he's too stressed to read, he enjoys watching the flames of the fire.

5)He doesn't like to see others suffer and will help anyway he can, however he knows where to draw the line with people so they don't over step their boundaries with him.  

6) When he can get his demon side under control he tends to find a high vantage point and watches over his home land for any intruders, he is very protective of his family, when he does this at night he is like a gargoyle keeping watch.

7) Should someone ever need comforting or in need of a hug, he will gladly give them one and try to work out their problems with them, he's a big softy at heart. He doesn't need to speak or do anything to calm another person, he has a very calming presence about him, something that his mother said that he must have picked up from his father.

8) When he was younger he was terrified of thunderstorms and would often sleep in his parents bed until the storm passed. 

So yeah, interesting day today.

I have been having blackout spells and becoming very lightheaded for the past few days, and today I had a really bad one. I was told to go to the hospital so they could run a load of tests (blood pressure, heart checks, temperature, blood tests etc). I was up there for 7 hours, a very long day indeed. They said they will follow it up in a few weeks with heart scans and a week long heart monitor (I have had one before but only for 24 hours).

So yeah tomorrow is going to be a day of sleeping to recover from the blood tests(recovering from both the blood loss and my fear of needles haha) and overall hospital experience.

Yes it was a long day, and at times the waiting was a pain (having a fear of crowded places, needles, hospitals, being touched etc did not help), but at least things are getting sorted to try and find the cause of it. No need to be worried, but I just wanted to update you on what was going on, so if I go a bit quiet then you know why.
